Dr. Aamina Shahid witnessed how fragile life is when her grandfather suffered a massive stroke, and it made her want to care for others. “Helping my patients maintain and improve their health brings me joy,” says Dr. Shahid, who is board certified in Geriatrics and Family Medicine. To figure out the best plan, she spends a lot of time with them and tries to put herself in their shoes. “Working with seniors has taught me that sometimes doing less is doing more—and I get inspired hearing all that they share.”
