Taking care of the Valley's children was always a dream for pediatrician Kathryn Newby, DO. The Arizona native and Arizona State University graduate attended medical school in Glendale at Midwestern University. After completing her residency and a year as chief resident at the University of Iowa, Dr. Newby escaped the snow and returned home to join Paradise Pediatrics in Scottsdale. Dr. Newby has a passion for newborn wellness, breastfeeding medicine and adolescent health. She's a vaccine advocate as well. "Kids are the future, and if we can promote healthy lifestyles and habits at a young age, hopefully, those habits will carry with them for life." She loves spending time with her husband, an anesthesiologist, and two children in her free time. They enjoy outdoor activities and baking.
