Owner and manager, Garret Matteo, says that “these females were selected in true confidence of what we believe our customers can move forward with in their own breeding programs each and every year.” The farm now consists of 10 separate homesteads and totals over 2,500 acres, mostly located in Hillsdale, NY, with four employees. Garret Farms participates in sales nationwide, including an annual production sale; the New York State Angus Female Sale in May-which will be hosted by Garret Farms this year; a joint bull sale on the first Saturday in May; and many others.
