Dr. Patricia Smith is part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Primary Care team. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center and completed residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina. As a dual internist and pediatrician, Dr. Smith treats patients of all ages – from birth to seniors. She empowers patients to take control of their health and often recommends evidence-based lifestyle medicine therapies to prevent, treat and manage chronic diseases. In her free time, you’ll find Dr. Smith browsing the stalls of local farmers markets looking for products to help expand her recipe repertoire. She and her husband also enjoy adventure sports like rock climbing and kiteboarding and spending time with their Australian cattle dog, Gerald.
