My path to medicine was a “non-traditional” one in that I did not go straight from college to medical school then immediately become a practicing physician. Instead I worked a few years in finance. What ultimately drew me to medicine was the simple acts of kindness that happen between a physician and patient. It’s this profound ability to have a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of others that keeps me in this calling. I am doing what I love and doing it well to the best of my ability.
