Rita A. Jermyn, M.D., is Director of the Center for Advanced Cardiac Therapeutics at St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center. Dr. Jermyn previously served as Director of Heart Failure for Northwell Health at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Hofstra-NS-LIJ School of Medicine. Dr. Jermyn is a nationally recognized leader in the use of CardioMEMS, a tiny implantable device that monitors heart failure patients around the clock from the comfort of their own homes.
