City of Sikeston Fire Division

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety Fire Division, is one of two major divisions that makes up the department. The division is responsible for providing fire protection, rescue services and hazardous material mitigation within the City of Sikeston. It also has an agreement to provide these services within the Sikeston Fire Protection District. The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is a partner with Jackson Fire and Rescue to form the Southeast Missouri Regional Haz-Mat/WMD Response Team. This team is the primary responder to hazardous materials and terrorists events in the Southeast Missouri Region.
