TDOT to Reopen One Lane of SR-68 in Rhea County to Light Traffic Only

On Saturday, May 12, TDOT will reopen one lane of travel on SR 68 near log mile 5 in Rhea County following a rock slide. Traffic will be controlled with a temporary signal, and only light traffic, such as cars, pickup trucks, and school buses, will be allowed. Work will continue on stabilizing the roadway to reopen to all traffic at a later date.
