Ziad G. Skaff, MD - Roper St. Francis Healthcare

Dr. Ziad Georges Skaff is part of the Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Lowcountry Hematology & Oncology care team. He earned his medical degree from the Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his internal medicine residency and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Cooper University Hospital. Dr. Skaff is dual board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Skaff was inspired to pursue medicine after losing his grandfather, who raised him, to lung cancer. He finds joy in making a difference for his patients and being there when they need him the most. Thorough communication is central to his care philosophy, along with the golden rule to treat others the way he wants to be treated. Dr. Skaff believes in living life to the fullest. When he isn’t treating patients, he’s often adventuring, doing activities such as scuba diving, spearfishing or sailing. He enjoys exploring new cuisine, cooking methods and ingredients with his family.
